How to use this tool:

  • If you want to compare the results from a local authority with the national picture then make sure you select the option “Local Authority / National Comparison. Then select a question from the “Question” drop down box. These are all the questions included in the survey. We would suggest that your starting point be the key questions we have summarised on the site and in the National Analytical Report. These are highlighted with an * in the drop down menu.
    Once you have decided on your question, please select the local authority your require from the second drop down box – the one labelled “Item”.

  • If you want to see the results of a question analysed (cross-tabulated) by another question within the survey, then please make sure you select the “Cross tabulations” button. Then select a question from the “Question” drop down box. These are all the questions included in the survey. We would suggest that your starting point be the key questions we have summarised on the site and in the National Analytical Report.
    Once you have decided on your question, please select the item (question response or other organisation characteristic) from the second drop down box – the one labelled “Item”. Your starting point again could be the key questions we have summarised on the site and in the National Analytical Report. These are highlighted with an * in the drop down menu.

  • Once you have produced your table, you can either view it on screen or download it in excel or pdf formats.

    Using Q1 to Q6 as cross tabulations? As these contain a large number of columns you are advised to view these in pdf or excel downloaded formats.
